The Leader of The Dreaded Boko Haram Sect, Abubakar Shekau, is something of an Enigma; hated by majority of Nigerians but probably adored and revered by his followers.Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about Abubakar Shekau.
1. His full names are Abubakar Shekau Faisal. Faisal is a very cute name (according to the ladies) commonly associated with Saudi royalty. Girls dig his name a lot
2. He is sometimes addressed as Darul Tawheed, a name which ladies don’t particularly like.
3. He refers to himself as the Emir of Boko Haram (literally, King of Western Education is a Sin). Which means he considers Boko Haram to be a kingdom? A Kingdom without land (Federal Government has refused to release the title deeds to Sambisa Forest to him).
4. His mother calls him “Shekky”.
5. He had a bad case of Nappy Rash as a baby and this explains why he always scratches his Right thigh in all his videos.
6. Abubakar Shekau also has a bad case of Eczema. Whenever BH attacks a town, they raid the Pharmacies 1st
7. Abubakar Shekau prefers light skinned women and dislikes Indian Women. This is because he is scared to death of dying like his Idol, Sanni Abacha.
8. As a direct consequence, Abubakar Shekau is also allergic to Apples
9. His Weapon of Choice is the M-16 Rifle, but he poses with an AK-47 in all his pictures because he hates America and the M-16 is an American Rifle.
10. He doesn’t believe in Western Education, so he never really uses his gun anyway (seeing as they are products of Western Education). He only throws stones. He only rides camels too.
