Meet the 29 year old man Who killed his 7year old daughter over a plate of rice

According to Tribune , a  29-year-old man, Kingsley Ekerete,  killed his seven-year-old daughter over a plate of boiled rice in Obimama, Oyigbo Local Government Area of the state. Kinglsey who is a  commercial driver who hails from Nto Osung community in Ikot Ekpene Local Area of Akwa Ibom State, holds just a First Leaving Certificate and has to drive his bus daily through the bustling traffic of Port Harcourt to make ends meet and put food on the table for his young family.
Judging from his looks, no one would have taken him for a murderer or imagined that he is capable of killing his own child.
 On this fateful day of April 12, 2014, Kingsley returned home like every other day at 1900hrs, already famished. He hurried down to the pot of rice he had prepared before leaving for work only to find that his also hungry daughter, Favour, had helped herself to the meal he had reserved for himself.

Barber stabs graduate to death during Chelsea-Atletico match

 

According to Punch, On Wednesday a 29-year-old Saheed Badmus went to a viewing centre on Lamina Street, Egbe, Lagos State, to watch the UEFA Champions League semi-final match between Chelsea Football Club and Atletico Madrid, little did he know that was the last match he would ever watch.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the graduate of Ekiti State Polytechnic was stabbed to death by a barber identified only as Yemi, during an argument that broke out at the viewing centre.

Our correspondent, who visited the scene on Thursday, observed a large crowd on the street talking about the incident.

The Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police Force, Ikoyi, Lagos, has arrested a 29-year-old man, Henry Ogu, for allegedly defrauding an American citizen (name withheld) of N52.5m ($350000).

His accomplice, 42-year-old Yunusa Okonkwo, was also arrested in connection with the fraud.

A statement by the SFU Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ngozi Isintume-Agu, said the unit had received a petition via email from  Ogu’s victims.

45-year-old man remanded for allegedly raping and impregnating his daughter

 

 

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrate’s court, Ibadan, yesterday, remanded a 45-year-old man, Ahmed Akintola, in Agodi prison for allegedly raping and impregnating his daughter.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Kehinde Durosaro-Tijani, gave the order pending the duplication of the case file by the Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.

She, therefore, adjourned the case till May 11.

Prosecutor Oluyemi Eyiaromi told the court that the accused unlawfully had carnal knowledge of his 16-year-old daughter.

Shocking - 57yrs-old vice principal Rapes a 12-yr-old student

A 57-year-old vice -principal of a school, Mr. Taiwo Ajayi, has been caught defiling a 12-year-old student of his school.

According to a police statement in Ado Ekiti, yesterday, Ajayi was said to have allegedly committed the offence inside his office at Saint Mary’s Girls Grammar School, Ikole Ekiti.

According to the police image maker, Mr Victor Babayemi, one of the staff in the  school had reported the matter to the police after suspecting the  movement of the young girl (names withheld) inside the vice principal’s office.
